You’ve Gotta Read This 7-20

By Mack Rights

This is an interesting read.  As a man, I don’t read Cosmopolitan Magazine, and after reading this, I’m pretty glad.  This is Chelsea Schilling’s story on Victoria Hearst’s crusade against her own family’s magazine for what she calls “pornographic” material that targets children at the checkout line `in the grocery store.  She’s the Christian granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst.  She talks about some of the things this magazine teaches women to be and do, but she also points to how they then use Disney Stars on the cover to get children to pick up the magazines and learn about these pornographic lessons for women.  If you want little girls to learn the trade of the prostitute, let them read Cosmo.  Read the whole article.  Essentially, Victoria Hearst is attacking her family for attacking the American family.  Lucky her name isn’t Corleone.  She’d be kissed like Fredo.

John Sununu destroys Obama on behalf of Romney.  Read and enjoy.

Yuval Levin calls attention to the head of the Democrat National Committee Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s insinuation that abortion is a Jewish value.  In an interview on Jewish Life Television, this exchange happened:

LEE LAZERSON: Has the president done anything wrong with respect to the Jewish vote?

DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: No. On the contrary, the president has an incredible record of support and advocacy on the issues, domestically, that Jews care about–fighting, for example, to make sure that women have the right to make their own reproductive choices; fighting to pass the Affordable Care Act, to make sure that being a woman is not a pre-existing condition, and that insurance companies can’t drop us or deny us coverage, making sure that we have access to affordable birth control without a deductible or a co-pay, while Mitt Romney and the Republicans fought to take us back to a time when we couldn’t make our own reproductive choices, when you didn’t have access to birth control. And we’re re-fighting the same cultural and social battles with the Republicans because they’re controlled by the extremists in the Tea Party. So President Obama’s earned the support of the Jewish community.

Levin ends the post with this: “Politicians used to insult Jewish voters by implying that all they cared about was Israel.  Surely this is much worse.”  I have to agree with that.  Even Jewish Congresschick Wasserman Schultz refuses to talk about Obama’s love of Israel.  All she talks about is free contraception to prevent the birth of babies, reproductive choices to prevent the birth of babies, and access to birth control to prevent the birth of babies.  If all Jews cared about was killing Jewish babies before they are born and making sure other Jewish babies aren’t even conceived, Wasserman Schultz would be a hero to all Jews.  But, unless the Jews are trying to disappear off the face of the planet because they hate themselves, I think they ought to tell this lady to shut up.  Wasserman Schultz must be aware that there are already plenty of nutcases out there that would indeed like to kill all Jews on the planet.  Why is she making their argument for them?  The way she defends Obama, she sounds like the only thing Jews care about is making sure no more Jews are born.  It’s perverse.  Yet the Republicans are “controlled by the extremists in the Tea Party.”

The steelworker who blamed Romney for losing his job actually calls Obama a jerk.

Here’s coverage of Bill McGurn’s WSJ story on the Facta requirement.  This is the Foreign Account Tax Compiance Act, and it isn’t a tax but a requirement of reporting overseas financial accounts, “backed by heavy fines.”  This is hurting Americans who work in foreign countries.  Here’s a bit of the story:

It requires foreign financial banks, investment houses, insurance companies, etc. to identify any Americans among their customers and turn over information about their accounts to the IRS (or to the local government, if that country has a sharing agreement with Uncle Sam).

At the individual level, Americans are now required to report foreign accounts at thresholds beginning at $50,000. Failure to file, or filing incorrectly, means a heavy fine. Among the most wicked aspects of this legislation is that a taxpayer can rack up tens of thousands of dollars in fines even if he or she doesn’t owe the IRS a dime in actual taxes.

Already, honest citizens are taking the hit. A woman emailing this reporter from Sweden says she’s been shut out of a promising Information Technology partnership since the chief investor learned that having an American on board would mean opening the partnership’s books to the IRS. On this side of the Atlantic, Joe Green, chairman of Canada’s Democrats Abroad, announces a website (www.ExpatTaxStory.us) where Americans can post their horror stories anonymously. In testimony at IRS hearings on Fatca in April, Mr. Green cited another example of the price U.S. expats are paying: American executives with foreign companies who “are being refused a promotion because it puts the company in a vulnerable position.”

This is just another way for the government to steal your money without having to vote to raise taxes.  They make you a criminal, and fine you for failing to comply.  As well, it is obviously hurting Americans’ abilities to do business in foreign countries when foreign companies find it a financial risk to get involved with Americans.  Don’t tell me Obama doesn’t hate America and its people.  He hates everything about us and considers it his job to punish us.

NPR did a report on the Obama-backed DISCLOSE Act that turned into a “Taxpayer-subsidized Obama commercial.”  This Act, sponsored by NY Senate Comrade Schumer, would target those donating anonymously to 501©4 organizations.  It’s a way for liberals to intimidate conservatives into not donating money to conservative groups and candidates out of fear of reprisals and therefore to squelch free speech.  These 501©4 groups were important back when the KKK wanted to target donors and members of the NAACP during the Civil Rights era.  Defund NPR.  The government should not be subsidizing radio that seems to exist so as to promote increasing the size of government.  Let them succeed and fail on their own.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell called Rush Limbaugh racist for talking about Obama doing drugs.  If telling the truth about the president, according to his biographies and his public statements, is racist, then doesn’t that make Obama a racist for admitting he did drugs?  Either way, O’Donnell’s a child in a man’s body without an argument against conservatism that doesn’t involve calling someone a racist.  I’m embarrassed for you liberals.  You are so unprepared for life and intellectual debate that you rely on calling someone a racist to make your argument.  Maybe if your ideas made more sense, you’d be able to defend them.  This says more about your ideas than Rush.  Eat those potatoes liberal, and quit banging on your highchair.

The producer at CNBC, Michael Tomaso, had a series of tweets with Dana Loesch.  He slams business owners for criticizing his messiah Obama.  He said, “Maybe they should spend more time hiring American workers with their record profits than blogging about Obama’s remarks.”  For those that don’t know, CNBC is NBC’s business channel that market watchers have on all the time.  It is littered with liberals, no doubt.  But what does it tell you when the producer of the most watched business channel thinks that businesses exist to hire American workers?  Businesses exist to make money dummy.  If hiring workers means making more money, then that would make sense.  However, when, due to the policies of our socialist president, it doesn’t make economic sense to hire workers, they can’t do it.  If they did, even though it would hurt them financially, they’d be suicidally stupid, and maybe even on their way to bankruptcy.  Instead of criticizing them, Tomaso might learn something from them- that the president’s radical ideas are awful for business.  Maybe then CNBC might actually do some good.

CNN’s Erin Burnett says Romney is either “stupid” or “shady” for not releasing more tax returns.  However, he’s already released the required two years.  Actually, he’s not required to release any.  It’s fun to watch the Obamabots fall all over themselves complaining about an apparent lack of transparency in Romney.  What a joke, considering all the things Obama refuses to release.

Vivian Schiller over at Neo-Pinko Radio was fired a while back for firing liberal Juan Williams for having said something politically incorrect about Muslims on FoxNews.  She forced him out, and it was later discovered that NPR execs were caught on tape “agreeing to take millions in donations from what they understood to be the Muslim Brotherhood.”  To anyone who knows anything about the liberal government-funded radio racket, it is no surprise that they’re a bunch of anti-Semitic Israel-hating Muslim lovers.  The Muslims buy access and reverence from the rotten liberals that run the media with all that oil money we’re forced to send them because our own government won’t let us drill for our own oil.  In any case, secular degenerates like Schiller aren’t put down forever.  She’s been hired to run NBC News Digital.  It’s easier to understand the message of the news when you understand who’s crafting it behind the scenes.

Speaking of liberal media being pro-Islamotakeover of America, a former liberal friend of mine told me about a former liberal friend of hers.  He was a Daily Kos writer and a filmmaker.  He was making a film about some locals down south who didn’t want some mega mosque built in their town.  He went down there to do a film about how the local Christians were just a bunch of bigots, but after shooting 300 hours of film, he realized they were right.  The Muslims didn’t need a mosque this big unless they were preparing for an invasion of epic proportions.  Then he talks about how the “liberal media” treated him afterwards.  He thought the “liberal media” was a myth until they started ignoring him.  Now he gets death threats.  Watch the video.  Nothing like a liberal smacked upside the head by reality.  His name is Eric Allen Bell.

Don Imus crushed liberal Sally Kohn for dismissing a report linked to by the Drudgereport.  He called this liberal out for being so closed-minded that she wouldn’t even consider the possibility that the story could be true if it was linked to by Drudge.  The story had to do with the Muslims throwing tomatoes at Hilary Clinton while she was out gallivanting the world on the taxpayer’s dime.  Good stuff.

Et Tu Mark Hamill?  I’ve always known the Luke Skywalker actor to be liberal, but here, he’s kind of crazy.  Watch this video.  He says Mitt Romney is “not actually human.”  I guess he’d know what non-humans are though, having spent so much time at Mos Eisley on Tantooine.  The sad thing is Mark Hamill reminds me of Jack Tripper from Three’s Company the way he talks.  However, as an actor, he’s kind of like Michael J. Fox, whose fame, like Mark Hamill’s, depended upon his depiction of a conservative.  Luke Skywalker was as conservative in space as Alex P. Keaton was on Family Ties.  Skywalker was raised by his uncle and aunt who cared for him as if he were their own.  “But I want to go to the Toshi station to get some power converters,” he whined, and his uncle replied, “You can waste time with your friends when your chores are done.”  [Note: my quotes might be off a little bit.  The movie came out in 1977- sorry.]  But in real life, Hamill’s just another mindless liberal actor.  And that’s how I felt when Michael J. Fox was crusading for embryonic stem-cell research.  He was arrogantly liberal enough to think that his life was so important that our government should create life and destroy it so that Fox could get rid of his Parkinson’s disease.  It never occurred to him that there might be a moral element that would make that impossible.  Granted, he later admitted that his efforts might have been in vain, seeing as many of those who’ve experimented with embryonic stem-cells (as opposed to adult stem-cells) have been turned into vegetables.  The question remains though, what is it about rich liberals and their own self-importance that leads them to call for immoral ideas that have devastating effects on those who don’t have the fame or fortunes to insulate them from the damage of these ideas?  Watch the video.  I couldn’t embed the video though.

Here’s some coverage of the Government Motors Chevy Volt debacle.  A couple things I’d like to mention is that five have started on fire due to the battery, and when you add in the subsidies from Obamacash, the government has subsidized the Chevy Volt to the tune of $250,000 per Volt sold.  In other words, the liberal guy and the liberal girl spend $41,000 on a car the taxpayer has already spent $250,000 on.  Is this the most progressive use of tax dollars?  Is it the little guy who can afford a $41,000 car, or is this just a $250,000 tax credit for those who can afford a $41,000 car?  Just asking.

Jerry Springer met with Obama and had this to say:  “He’s so competent and so smart, I just don’t see why we wouldn’t want him for four more years as president.”  I applaud Jerry Springer for shining a light on the underbelly of liberal America, but I also know that he’s a rabid liberal.  Follow the money.  Obama promotes the destruction of the family, and the Jerry Springer Show makes money off of the brutalized victims of broken homes whose definition of fame is to parade themselves as sociology experiments on national TV.  Of course Springer wants it to continue.  He profits from the mayhem.

There was a banner being flown over Penn State that read, “Take the statue down or we will.”  This refers to the statue of Joe Paterno, the legendary football coach who apparently protected the gay pedophile Jerry Sandusky for years.  I say good.  I like that Americans are standing up to liberal institutions that are protecting the pedophiles as they feast on our children’s souls by defiling their flesh, all in the name of the money that would have been lost if they willingly invited the scrutiny that their football program deserved.  If Penn State doesn’t take it down, I hope it is taken down like they took down the Saddam Hussein statue in Iraq.  We need to stop worshipping people who protect the pedophiles in the gay agenda.

Comrade Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the head of the DNC, was heckled in a Reform temple in Elkins Park, PA when she tried to claim that Obama “was a strong supporter of Israel.”  I like that even the liberal Jews in this country are coming to their senses.  They voted for an unabashed anti-Semite.  Will they do it again?  That is the question.

Andrea Shea King asks is “Obama Preparing for Citizen Uprising?”  On July 6, Obama signed Executive Order 13618 that would “shut down all domestic communication in case of a declared emergency.  Let me repeat:  All domestic communication.”  She continues by quoting a piece from Zero Hedge about connecting the dots:

“Taken in conjunction with the NSA’s new Utah spy center (which will collect and archive the complete contents of every email, tweet, Facebook post, Google search, phone call and text message) and the National Defense Authorization Act, it’s clear that the Obama administration is expecting trouble from within.

“And with good reason,” the article continues.  “By every possible calculation (except flat-out fraud), the U.S. government is completely insolvent, and its balance sheet is growing worse by the day.  The dollar is beginning to be seriously challenged as the global reserve standard, and every effort politicians make to “fix” the economy only makes things worse.

“As a matter of convenience, people are willing to deal with a lot of pain.  They’ll suffer through wars, recessions, and all sorts of national unpleasantness.  But the moment that rapidly that rapidly decaying economics and shortages prevent people from being able to put food on the table for their families, they rise up,” the article warns. “Just look at the Arab Spring.”

“This is all playing out with nearly perfect historical precision,” the article concludes.  “Time and time again throughout history as once great empires accelerated their declines, governments have taken steps to protect their interests against the people.”

I know, that’s pretty disheartening.  Don’t let it get you down.  And don’t read too much Zero Hedge.  Tyler Durden, the main guy over there, is indeed brilliant, but he’s also fatalistic.  He’s prepared for a slide that cannot be prevented or stopped.  I’m not that pessimistic yet.

For fun, a character on the USA channel’s White Collar is using “Barry Soetoro” as his alias.  He’s a document forger and a con man, and since Barry Soetoro was Barak Obama’s alias as a child, that’s quite fitting.
