Question of the Day Sat. Aug. 11: What is the proper Role of …

This is a multi-part question -

What is the proper role of government?  The federal government and then State government?

Do you think they are too limited?

What more or less should the federal government be doing?

If you do not know personally and have to look up the constitutional parameters of the Federal government in the constitution please do! Do not take anyone else’s word for it. It is not a bad thing to have to look it up.

NEXT:

What is the Proper role of the State government?

Are they doing their proper role in your state or is the fed doing more of the State Governments Job?

I actually had 2 more parts but realize this alone could get out of control.

PLEASE: Let’s try to first answer the questions presented before adding any discussion or commentary thanks

(This question stems from our previous question: Do you want to be in control of you or Do you want government in control of you?)

  1. I live in California, the effect of out of control government is everywhere. High cost of living mainly due to taxes, fees, permits, regulations..etc brings down the quality of living. The nation was founded and built in to a super power because of limited government and freedom.

  2. It is the role of Government to safeguard the liberty & freedoms that the founding Fathers envisioned for us. The moral attacks by Mr. Obama to take sides with the minority, and disregard the American public to limit sin to private. It is not Obama’s role to subvert the political system and violate religious freedom for every Christian American. I will not have my religious freedom violated by a boy who thinks he can steal from me, what I will not give him the right that is not his. I am proud to be a Christian American- I do not apologize for it- not to him or anyone. The time for real men to stand together is now. Real Change, 2012 NoBama! Rich
