Financial Freedom, Biblical Economics and the American Dream:
Economics 101 – This can be a one-time class and/or a course that can last up to 6 months.
The one-time class would focus on Budgeting 101: Basic economics that they no longer teach in the Public schools.
This class will go over very basic economic principles. We will try to identify 5 or 6 individuals who would want to continue taking these classes for
a 6 month time period. The time commitment would be either: once a week though we can work this out to a bi-weekly schedule. The course will
focus on Free-Market principles and how the inner city really does run on a supply and demand market. We will show how the inner city is filled
with consumers and that if they learned how to save, they could become business owners and investors. The course would ideally conclude in
December of each year. The hope is that those in the class would decide to invest a portion of their tax returns, thus helping them build a financial
future, build a retirement plan and maybe even start a business.
We believe financial literacy is imperative to succeeding in the world today and seeing the American Dream to fruition.
